Guiding Leaders with Experience and Warmth

About Julia Russell

For over 25 years, I worked internationally in senior commercial and leadership roles across Europe, Singapore and South-East Asia, building relationships, leading teams and working with people from many different cultures, industries and backgrounds.

Today, I help organisations develop the human skills that drive confidence, communication, leadership and workplace performance in increasingly fast-moving and complex environments.

My work focuses on leadership development, communication and influence, emotional intelligence, workplace relationships, personal effectiveness, resilience and graduate development — helping people strengthen the skills that technology cannot replace.

I believe that success at work is built through self-awareness, trust, communication and our ability to connect positively with others. In a world increasingly shaped by AI and constant change, these human skills matter more than ever.

My facilitation style is energetic, engaging, commercially grounded and highly interactive. I create supportive learning environments where people feel comfortable contributing openly, challenging themselves, thinking differently and applying learning to real workplace situations.

I regularly work with leaders, graduates, emerging talent, client-facing teams and women’s networks within global organisations, facilitating both virtual and face-to-face programmes tailored to each organisation’s culture, challenges and goals.

Participants often describe my sessions as practical, thought-provoking, relatable and immediately applicable — combining real-world commercial experience with warmth, energy and honest conversation.
